Aww. I feel so warm and fuzzy and all aglow right now. I feel so...loved.
Anyone who cooks knows about epicurious, the online alter-ego of both Bon Appetit and Gourmet magazines. Epicurious is basically a re-hash of articles, recipes, and reviews that are in the current month's glossy flossy issues, but the site also has a few extra online-only features. Since magazines are starting to see the impact and importance of blogging, particularly food blogging, the editor, Tanya Steel, has recently started a food blog called Epi-log. And Tanya has listed me as one of the "Food Blogs We Like!"
Most of the time, I *sigh* and feel like my delicious little cheese sandwich is just wasted time and energy, but sometimes, just sometimes, I feel like Stuart Smalley.
But I still stand behind my opinions about Bon Appetit listing Geisha House as a good place to get sushi in LA! I mean, I do have some integrity. LOL! I just forgive them for their momentary lapse in taste, that's all. ;)

dear cheese sandwich:
hey congrats there you little blogger you. even though it feels like cheating - i, uh, do read other food blogs. y'know out of curiousity and stuff.
but what you bring to the blogging table always brings me back - it ain't just the food talk baby - though i like it when you talk that way. it's what in the nooks and cranny's that are especially
delicious.
keep up the good work and don't get a day job.

oh sarah - i knew you wouldn't understand - you see, it's not you, it's me.
how can i possibly compete with all the la cheesemongers, santos's's's, anonymi, etc... that flock around you like everybody i've ever known to an open bar.
that's why i sometimes go to the
" i don't know, what do you want to eat?" blog - just to feel a little more adequate.
and what with all this publicity and what not, you'll soon enough forget about us little posters, and be blogging for katie couric and the olsen twins.

Yay, Sarah! I think your flog is extremely well written, creative, and FUN!! I don't care if your write for Katie Couric or the little green men in your head. Your words will find the people they're meant to. Keep up the good work!!!
