    Apparently, I Cook. Sometimes.

The long, slightly unwieldy list of foods that I have cooked or baked is further below, so scroll down. Otherwise, feel free to read my wah-wah-ing intro first.

I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now, but as you know, I am so utterly overwhlemed by phone calls, emails, IMs, all begging to be a part of this whirlwind of a Delicious social life that…

    Damn.

I cannot, just cannot, blog that with a straight face.

Let’s just say that other things have been pressing on my heart and mind so that I have been slightly undermotivated to do the overwhelming task of indexing. You know, indexing. Like I did with the restaurants. Like, going back through my archives month by month (wo)manually because I am not an “alpha” enough blogger to get invited to Blogger’s new sleek chic uber-geek “beta” software (wow, you have to be “alpha” to get “beta?” – that makes, um...NO sense), painstakingly excavating all the posts wherein I perpetrated domesticity, and succinctly listing them all in one place so that the four (yes, four!) readers who actually want to make edamame hummus can easily find the recipe. Because making edamame hummus is hard, you know.

It was a mild case of heartbroken-ness, coupled with “WTF am I doing with my life? I have no job and Google’s AdSense doesn’t work if your blog has no readers so I should write something fresh and funny and exciting and new come aboard we're expecting you, but I am too depressed but that means I will have no readers which depresses me even more.” *sigh*

Let me tell ya’, if ever you feel depressed, looking at your beautiful photography and brilliant writing of times past will hurl you even further into the depths of despair!

But don't worry, I think I've got my Sexy Back.

Oh, no. Unh-unh. Oh, no she di-int.

Yes. Yes I di'. JT, I'm watching you.

Fabulous, Sarah! Can't thank you enough for taking the time to "index" all of these recipes. Oh, and I had to post this comment since I am an AVID reader of your blog (almost daily!) and would never want you to think you only have 4 readers...you actually have five!! :)

craigm: long time no read/comment/see! hi! i am NOT a food tease. are you kidding?!?! if i put it out there, baby, i am taking it all the way. er, you know what i mean.

anonymous #2: wow. if i had known that having all the recipes in one smart little index would have garnered such an enthusiastic response, i'd have done this a long time ago! of course, that doesn't mean that everything *ahem* tastes good. LOL! make sure you read the fine print!!! ;)

Do you want to switch? I keep hoping to get laid off so I can make lists of blog posts but it's not happening.

I think it would help us both appreciate our positions if we could trade places for about a week. My boss not like it, but hey ... that might get me laid off!
