There is more than a month's worth of dining out that is still sitting as scribbles on backs of menus, as untouched photos still in my camera, and as ether in my memory. And even if I were to post an experience twice a day unfailingly, that would still put me through to the end of August. Which means, in order for me to really be caught up, I'd have to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at home every night until I'm caught up. *sigh* So very very very behind...Katmandu Kitchen? That was actually a lunch trip on the Friday before the Independence Day weekend!
So to keep things interesting, I'm giving up short, five-word previews of restaurant posts that are waiting in the wings for their full-blown, glorious moment in the Delicious spotlight. This in itself is quite a challenge for me - I like to write a lot of words. A lot. ;)
Casa Escobar, Santa Monica - Always reliable, old-school Mexican seafood
J.R. Seafood, West LA - Tangerine chicken like Panda Express
Koutoubia, Westwood - Belly dancer with your tagine?
Barney's Burgers, Brentwood - Somewhat expensive, but fries rock!
Spumoni, Santa Monica - Friendly neighborhood Italian, get tiramisu
Royal Star Seafood, Santa Monica - Where are the Chinese people?
Fioretto Trattoria, Culver City - Bipolar service, food not great
