The second, bigger, more visible location of Escuela Taqueria is not bad.
But it's not "good" either...
...mostly because the restaurant used my photos from a previous visit on their website without a credit, and that sort of irks me, but not enough to keep me from going there on what was possible the hottest, most humid day in LA's Summer 2013.
Still, not bad.
Clockwise from the top: Langostino (batter fried langostino tail with cabbage slaw and grilled pineapple), Pork Belly ( crispy pork belly with pickled red onions and cilantro), Carnitas (braised pork shoulder with pico de gallo and guacamole), and my fav of the day Roasted Poblano Chiles with Jack Cheese.
