    The only fitting finale to an unbelievably blessed year in which so many — forgive me for this — Champagne wishes and caviar dreams came true: New Year's Eve sitting at the Chef's Table at The Royce. ...

    {As a note, I should have added something to the photo above as a comparison for how large those oyster shells, and thus the tins of caviar, are. The tins were the size of the palm of my hand, which means the oyster shells were as large as cereal bowls!}

      The luxuriousness of this meal is absolutely ridiculous. 3k+ in wine alone for one night plus probably the same amount in caviar and truffles? I'm speechless.

      I can't conceive of that dinner...the food the wines... what the heck is a 25 year  old oyster??? Are they the size of chickens?  you must have had the best time... may 12 be as wonderful!
